Close contact: By close contact, I have to assume your are talking about close contact in the setting of spreading infectious disease which varies greatly on the specific disease. Close contact would most commonly be defined people you come into contact with regularly and are like to share a touch, or a glass or eating utensil or perhaps a hug or a kiss with. However it could also include work colleagues too.
