A member asked:

What does it mean if my astigmatism is too high for regular contact lenses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Toric lenses: If you have more than 1.00 diopter of astigmatism, you probably won't see sharply in standard spherical soft contact lenses. However you can be fit for either toric soft contacts or rigid gas permeable (rgp) lenses and achieve excellent vision.
