Pls what do they mean by saying that hiv can only be transmitted by direct contact with certain body fluids?

HIV is a bit different from viruses like the coronavirus, as it's not one that can typically be transmitted in an "airborne" manner. It's transmitted through the mixing of bodily fluids,most commonly either sexually (through semen or possibly through open wounds during sex), or through small amounts of blood from sharing needles. That's the general rule, nature may occasionally make exceptions.
