Why?: Yes he/she likely can, but, why is this important? It seems to me the reason to quit would be the increased risk of health problems, or cancer or even death. Spending your retirement years dragging an oxygen tank around with you is a real possibility, what you are asking is like trying to figure out what color car is about to run you over on a busy road... Just get out of the way!

Definitely: Smoking leaves all kinds of signs in the oral cavity that someone has been smoking, especially for a long period of time. Discoloration on the tongue, cheeks, gums, teeth among some of the areas. Smoker's breath is very obvious and sores may be present. Smokeless tobacco is much worse. Consider your health!
