Unrelated: Smoking will not affect the crown or the cementation process. It will affect your health and possibly cause cancer as well as many other medical issues. My advice is to quit and live a healthier and longer life. It's your health and your life. The ball is in your court and you will have to live (or die) by your decision. Good luck. Others on this site have already thanked me for similar advice.

Stop all together: If you were getting a crown cemented and there was not extraction involved during the procedure then there shouldn't be any reason for a time delay in smoking. Unless the dentist said so, or you could just quit.

Forever: You should not start smoking again. This is a great excuse to stop smoking.

Smoke or not?: What was it that made you stop? Whatever it was keep it going, look at the cementation of your crown as the first day of the rest of your smoke free life.
