A member asked:

Could a doctor test to see if you have gluten intolerance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes,but: It is not a simple process. There are some blood tests that can suggest gluten intolerance, but these screening tests can be a false positive. The accepted standard requires an intestinal biopsy, usually done by a gastroenterologist. Contact your pcp and see what they advise.
