Possibly: Geodon or ziprasidone would reduce the sensation of anxiety in the context of a panic attack although some psychiatrists would offer that it is like using a sledgehammer to do the job of feather duster. I would talk to your doctor about it and see if there are additional things beyond panic that are being treated with it. The good news is that it is not habit forming like alternative treatments!

Agree w Dr. Tapia: Geodon (ziprasidone) is not indicated for panic disorder. Are you being treated by a psychiatrist? If not, that may be helpful for you. Although geodon (ziprasidone) might provide some reduction in symptoms - it is an atypical antipsychotic. Would wonder if you are on Geodon (ziprasidone) - if you are have more going on than panic attacks alone.
