Multiple causes: There are a lot of things in that area that can cause pain, from the bowels to the bladder to anything in the pelvic region (ovaries, uterus). In order to be fully evaluated you should see your physician and give a full history and obtain a proper physical exam.

Not necessarily: For your age, usually it means colitis other causes can be related to ovarian cysts. Further work-up s needed. This may involve an ultrasound and/or a flexible sigmoidoscopy.
