Possibly: Aspergers disorder is characterized by social anxiety, a rigid view of social rules and difficulty with social pragmatics. A child would need to be old enough to exhibit these features, perhaps not be obvious until they reach school age. The symptoms are there earlier but the social situations may not have been reached to make the features obvious.
