Here's how.: Recommend that you see your personal doctor. He or she can evaluate for depression and also work you up to insure that you don't have any medical conditions or medications that are causing your depressive symptoms. Medication may be needed. Also encourage you to hook up with a therapist. Cognitive behavioral therapy and insight oriented psychotherapy can be very effective. Depression is treatable.
