What is the probability of getting mesothelioma from a hair dryer?

Why do you think?: I have never heard of this issue raised before. Mesothelioma is often caused by asbestos exposure, many times the cause is unknown like in so many of the cancers.

None: Asbestos is a risk factor. Hair dryer should not be related?

Unknown: Prior to 1980, some hair dryers made in the us reportedly had asbestos. After that, american companies quit doing it but since now most dryers are made elsewhere, it is impossible to know if they have it, how much there is, and more importantly, how much (if at all) this increases the risk for mesothelioma. I wonder if there's a higher incidence of meso in members of big hair 80's bands!
