A member asked:

Could someone get mesothelioma in their eyes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No....: Mesothelioma is a cancer of the lining of the lungs (pleura) and sometimes the lining if the abdominal cavity (peritoneum) which is seen in people with a history of asbestos exposure. Some research has shown that some people with a mutation in their BAP1 gene may be at increased risk for both mesothelioma and melanoma of the eye.
