If you have blockage: These very fast rhythms don't generally cause the more common type of heart attack (sudden blockage) but if the plumbing is already well gunked up, the pipes (arteries) may not be able to supply enough blood to keep up with very high rates (>180/min) and in those cases, we see minor heart damage called "demand ischemia." at 37, i wouldn't expect that to be a problem for you. Yes: Low however unless other age, risk factors. Svt should be diagnosed and controlled. Tachycardia requires more blood-oxygen supply to the heart, so if lesions in coronaries that could precipitate event.
