OK: That does not make the antibiotic less effective, as long as you still managed to swallow it after it dissolved.

Yes OK: But the medication might burn the throat a little, upset the stomach, and/or not be absorbed entirely. An enteric coating gets the medicine through the stomach to be absorbed later in the intestines. One does will not make a difference.
