Eat and be merry: Active culture yogurt w/ nice protein such as Greek or Aussie style. Kefir is a good choice too. You can freeze the yogurt or kefir to make a cold treat that's easy to eat. Make some gelatin and add ground flax seed to it. You can do the same with chia seeds. In fact, you could add chia to almost any liquid (milk, juice) to get your daily intake until healed. Avoid hot, spicy, acidic foods.
