Just finished antibiotics for cough, now i have painful tonsils. is this related to the antibiotics? its painful to swallow.

Maybe ...: Not necessarily related to the antibiotics since you still may have an upper respiratory infection with tonsillitis and pharyngitis. However, you can get thrush (fungal infection) in the mouth and thirst after antibiotics, and this can cause tonsil and throat pain. You may need to see a doctor to be sure.
