Fix is not a good: ...Word to use in surgery unless you're talking about how to attach something to something else. Surgical release is actually minor surgery & permanently eliminates symptoms in most cases. I think steroid injectionis as, or even more risky and relief is usually temporary.Sometimes avoidance of causative activities is enough.
