If you have a hand..: Anyone with a hand can get carpal tunnel syndrome. Certainly pregnant women, diabetics, hypothyroid patients and people who do a lot of hand intensive work have a higher incidence of it. None the less, you don't have to be in one of those groups to develop it.

Susceptable: Carpal tunnel affects a wide range of patients. Its more common in females and generally affects patients 18 years and older.
