Second opinion: If you are concerned about what to do, see a gastroenterologist, which is is a doctor that specailizes in non surgical treatment of gallstones. If they tell you to have your gallbladder out then go to a surgeon for gallbladder removal. The risk factors for symptomatic gallstones are female , age forty, previous childbirth or birth control pills, and obesity.
