Discharge: You may have significant amount of discharge coming out of the vagina. Also, if the cream doesn't stay in, it may drip out of the vagina and mixed with the discharge causing you to have the symptoms described. Sometimes, women get misdiagnosed with yeast infection but having urinary tract infection and have urine incontinence because of it. If your yeast infection fails to improve, see your doc.

Cycle changes: Sounds like mid cycle cervical mucus. Each month, for a few days, there can be a heavier mucus or jelly type discharge when everything is healthy. It normally stops when you ovulate or release an egg each cycle. Then you can expect your period in 12-14 days.
