Within normal limits: This sounds well within normal limits, as long as she is steadily making progress in development. Walking may take as long as until 18 months and still be considered normal. Every child is different, and it sounds like your daughter is very close to achieving this milestone. Of course, one of the main duties for a pediatrician through early childhood is to monitor each child's development.

Discuss with PCP: At your next office visit or scheduled checkup, bring up the issue with your pcp.This is on the outer margin of normal but if it has caught your attention there may be subtile additional things that add to your concern.Your pcp can look at the issue in terms of his/her findings.If needed, an evaluation through an early childhood program can be arranged.
