3 weeks ago, stent placed due to 95%+ blocked lad. since then, i often feel a bit of pressure or pinching like feeling. not pain...just discomfort. is this normal?

Yes: Yes it's very common to have a pinching pain in your chest after a stent is placed. However, the pain should be stable, if it changes, get to an er otherwise i would call your cardiologist and follow up as an outpatient.

Check with cardiolog: There could still be another artery that is partially blocked even though they opened the main blockage. Check with the cardiologist, 'you may find relief with nattokinase pills 2 or 3 2 to 3 times a day take with an empty stomach.Pills can be gotten in a health food store.

Sometimes: A funny chest discomfort is often seen after placing a heart stent which might be due to stretching of the artery. This usually resolves in a day or two so discomfort lasting several weeks is concerning. You should see your cardiologist as soon as possible. Are you taking aspirin, Plavix (clopidogrel) (or effient) and a statin?
