Speech delay: At 24 months he should have a basic vocabulary of 50 words and begin to make combinations with these words. Do you have any concerns about his hearing? Do you have any concerns about his social, motor or intellectual development. He needs a developmental evaluation by a pediatrician and possible other testing.
