Difficult to tell: If gallbladder surgery would be helpful for you. Shoulder pains may not be from the gallbladder, especially if your symptoms were not recreated with the hida scan injection. Does eating caise the problems? No, gallbladder surgery would not be a necessity & uncertain if it would help you. Review test results & symptoms again with your doctor. Consider seeing a GI specialist.

Keep looking: Not definitive. Although the gallbladder function is sluggish, pain in that location should have further analysis and the gb doesn't have to come out yet. Blood tests, ecg, chest x-ray ?

Analyse risk/benefit: Your gallbladder does not have to come out. You are in an elective situation where you can consult with your surgeon and regular doc. After your risk/benefit analysis is complete, then you decide. A gallbladder that has to come out (urgent or emergent) is infected with duct obstruction and associated high risk to leave it inside. Good luck.
