See your doctor: C. Diff. Infections can be severe and difficult to treat. Resistance to Flagyl has become more common. You need to consult with your doctor about possibly changing to a different med.

C.difficile colitis: Please get further eval with your doctor. C.Diff colitis is potentially serious if it is not adequately treated. There is increasing difficulty in achieving sustained remission, and the rates of recurrence are increasing. Flagyl may not be completely effective in your case, and there are other treatments that can be used. A stool sample should be obtained. 2 years or recurrence is concerning.
