Can i sikip my alprazolam at night to have some wine at night ?

Bad Idea: If your anxiety disorder requires treatment with both Buspar (buspirone) & Alprazolam then you should take your meds as prescribed. I have treated a number of patients who had anxiety disorders related to their alcohol use. I am always concerned when someone wants to substitute alcohol for their prescribed medication. I also wonder why folks ask this question of strangers on-line rather than d/w their doctor.

Skippig Xanax (alprazolam): Skipping anxiety medications in itself is not healthy & can create uncomfortable physical symptoms, worse if substituted by alcohol, which can lead to more anxiety the next morning.
