Pehaps....: If i had to guess without actually examining you, i would venture a guess that you are a mouth breather. With your mouth open and air rushing over your gums, they dry out and become inflamed. But that's just a guess. You need to see your local dentist who can give you an accurate answer to your question. The fact that this happens probably indicates that your gums are not in the healthiest state.
