What's the best treatment to get rid of mucormycosis?

Emergency: Mucormycosis is an invasive fungus which will only take hold in very sick people, advanced diabetes or the immunosupressed. If you suspect this problem, you need immediate evaluation and big time treatment. Do not delay.

Mucormycosis: High dose intravenous amphotericin B is usually first med. Eventually may transition to oral antifungal like Posconzole or isavuconazole. May need to aggressively remove infected/ dead tissue.
