ALWAYS A TRIGGER: Some potential triggers include food issues, such as aspartame, monosodium glutamate, nitrite preservatives in cold cuts, red wine, aged cheeses, and others. Chronic usage of pain meds, changes in weather patterns, bright sunshine, all are risks. Best to break up pattern with preventative meds, either prescription or otc. Botox, acupuncture may help. See headache specialist.
