My little 3yr old girl got her cast off early(2wks) a few days ago and is complaining about it hurts and still walks like she has a cast on.

Re-evaluate: Usually we leave the casts on until they are pain free, as this indicates adequate healing to be out of the cast. If she is still favoring it for more than a day after coming out the cast (occassionaly favor it cuz they are scared of hurting it again, but this quickly resolves), then i would have it re-evaluated and possibly another x-ray to see if she can be out. Perhaps a splint would help.
