Relax: You do not have meningitis, and you are right as far more severe symptoms would be present, such as severe headache, nausea, vomiting, stiff neck and high fever. If you were immunologically suppressed, you could experience minimal symptoms, but this usually occurs in transplant pts or cancer pts.

Meningitis: Its hard to diagnose this from a distance, but meningitis is typically associated with quite severe neckpain and headaches... Patients typically have sweats and chills, and are really sick. Maybe drink some extra fluids, walk and use some flexibility exercises. Anti-inflammatories might help also and se how things go over the next 24-48 hrs. If you get worse, please go see a doctor!
