Wait: I'm all for your getting treatment as soon as possible but sleep apnea is not an emergency, and if you think you'll have insurance to pay for treatment later in the year, then there should be no harm in just deferring treatment temporarily.

Very personal choice: As a healthcare provider, my interest in your health, not your wallet. If you feel you may have sleep apnea, and this could aggravate your cardio conditions, then you should seek the sleep study and move forward with treatment. Doctors diagnosis and treatment plans are formulated based on what is your best interest, not your ability to pay. You are tasked with diagnosing your finances.

If you can go ahead: And get treatment, at least do the sleep study done. It is your health, sleep apnea has been proven to be under lying a lot of health issues.
