It can: 6 months ago it may have been in the very early stage and the labs may b normal or on the higher end of normal and now it is symptomatic and ct & labs may b positive so b sure 2 b seen by ur UGI specialist. Don't ignore the symptoms u have now.

Pain: That is isolated to the left upper abdomen with what you said is no other symptoms, and age 45, pancreas cancer would be quite unlikely. Many things can cause pain that is not cancer. Pancreas cancer is often not well seen on ct scan unless it is large enough. See a gastroenterologist for evaluation. Repeated ct scans may not be the best test. Had endoscopy?

Endoscopic ultrasoun: See a GI doctor, rule out ulcer with endoscopy and consider endoscopic ultrasound if a strong cancer history. You could have diabetic gastroparesis, this would be evaluated with a gastric emptying study.
