Pain in Hepatitis: Unfortunately this is not how medicine works. Pain is used as as guide for care. Your friends hepatitis doctor or their family physician should know they are in pain. Then the pain and the cause of the pain will be evaluated and a treatment plan developed. Please encourage your friend to get to their doctor.
