No insurance: You can still be seen by a doctor without insurance. You have a disease that is life threatening. You need to be treated early in its course to save your liver. There are many programs and many clinics where you can be treated for reduced cost. Many of us also give discounts for cash pay and will work with you to make payments. Don't use the excuse that you can't be seen without insurance.

No drinking: There is no medication for hepatitis c that doesn't require a prescription by a doctor. Until you can get medical care, the most important thing you can do is to completely avoid alcohol.
