Endocrinologist: Your primary care doctor should be sufficient to handle it most of the time. Otherwise he will refer you to the right specialist after evaluation. I don't think dentist handle these cases. You may need blood tests anx sonograms which can be arranged by your internist.

OMFS or ENT: While some oral &maxillofacial surgeons may operate on parotid glands, more commonly ENT surgeons will treat parotid pathology (assuming that only one side is affected). If both parotids are swollen, consider a medical cause (like mumps, etc). While a salivary stone can also cause parotid enlargement, they aren't all that common. See your ent.

Oral Surgeon Dentist: You are best to seek out and oral maxillofacial surgeon who is a dentist with specialized training in surgical treatments. Most likely if it is you parotid gland then you would be referred to one.

See a dentist: Some people may be more likely to form salivary stones or. You can prevent stones by drinking plenty of fluids. You also can make more saliva by sucking on sour, sugarless candies. Your dentist can show you how to massage your parotid glands to keep saliva flowing. See a dentist for examination, x-rays and treatment.
