Depends: If you are having menstrual problems you should see gyn. If you are sexually active you should see gyn. If you are fine, 21 years old would be ok to see gyn.

Simple answer: As long as you are not using that equipment you don't have to do much maintance, if you become sexually active, have problems with irregular cycles or excesive flow, or turn 21, you need a visit.
