Why are my finger tips wrinkly when the have not been in water? does anyone know?

Check thyroid: Wrinkly finger tips are caused by skin swelling. Only the finger tips look wrinkly because parts of the skin are anchored down by collagen so the swelling is uneven. There are many causes for this but hypothyroidism is one that is relatively common and easy to check with a simple and cheap blood test.
