Any age: It tends to be worse during the teens and early twenties. More important, it needs to be treated. It's a serious, chronic, non-lifestyle-related that's a major social and professional handicap. It can always be treated effectively by a competent physician. Blaming a patient or denying scientific treatment for superstitious reasons is a terrible mistake. Please do the right thing.
