Hiya, do you think ava 30 would help with acne? i was switched from ginet 84 due to w/g, but i can't find anything online to say ava reduces acne?

In the US, 3 drugs: have FDA approval for acne management, OrthoTricyclen (Norgestimate+), Estrostep (Norethindrone+), and Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) (Drospirenone+). Ava 30 has levonorgestrel+, all slightly different progestins,but many brands work similarly and are used off label for acne. Unfortunately all BCP contain progestins which tend to aggravate w/g,but switching to a 30 d instead of the 84 will reduce your dose 25% and help w/g
