A member asked:

I have cartilage damage in my hip, is it possible to build back and repair on my own? if so how?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cartilage Arthritis: Unfortunately no one has quite figured out how to regenerate cartilage in the type of clinical situation you are referring to. Once cartilage is damaged it does not grow back resulting on bone on bone conditions which lead to symptoms of arthritis including pain and stiffness. That's not to say you can't do things to feel better, notwithstanding the abnormal joint cartilage.
