Stomach upset: Raw flaxseed may be hard on your stomach, since its shell is hard to digest. Although, there is no carved in stone recommendations or restrictions about how much raw flaxseed you can eat, i would suggest 1 table spoon twice daily and i would mix it up with either oatmeal or another food to blend it in.
