LIgament surgery: Infection, instability, blood flood, poor nutrition (albumin, pre-albumin, etc), smoking, alcohol, etc.

Torn ligament: There are many reasons for poor healing . Speak openly with your surgeon for the best guidance. The itchy bumps may be athlete's foot - see your podiatrist for that as well . Good luck to you.
