C U r surgeon. : Have him/her reevaluate ur knee & have x rays of it . Looking 4 any obvious complications. Also @ 8 weeks a manipulation under anesthesia may b considered to gain some more flexion.

Instability: Typically the sensation you are feeling is a result of flexion or midflexion instability. This can reduce your range of motion; since you're unstable in those positions, you don't want to get your knee there and therefore you lose motion. Range of motion can continue to improve for a year with the majority of your improvement in the first three months. Has your surgeon discussed a manipulation?
