Lost in translation: Personally, i think we tend to over-pathologize behavior, so i would probably say, "yes." but one of the things that makes this discussion difficult is that we use the same words, e.g., "depression, " to refer to very different experiences. The depression we refer to as clinicians is much more debilitating than what most of us mean when we say, "i'm depressed today"--much gets lost in translation!
