No: Ingrown nail usually is too late to self treat and means it has already punctured or damaged the surround tissue of the nail. You may need a procedure to remove, clean, and repair the area. Hope that helps.

No: And please don't try removing it yourself. A simple in office procedure by a podiatrist will get you back to normal much faster.
