Fear, Judge, Starve: They get trapped living a life of fear in which they come to view food as their enemy. They let others' & their own harsh judgments of their weight/body rule their lives. And yes, they starve themselves - though they wouldn't dare think of starving another person or creature. And by starving, they risk suffering malnutrition; failure of heart, brain & other organs; & premature death.
