Eating Disorders : The development of anorexia is a complicated issue, and does not merely come from being "skinny" but rather from psychological issues that are being dealt with in a flawed manner through food. You should work with a psychologist to determine the underlying issues such as depression, anxiety and control to address these concerns.

Practice: Dr. Gerwell is correct . In addition, eating is actually a skill that must be learned and practiced to be maintained. When the skill atrophies through non-use/lack of practice it is difficult to get your eating "chops" up again. But, with ongoing practice at normal, healthful eating behaviors, your skill level will improve. Keep going a little at a time--as with other skill rehearsals.
