Other symptoms?: What treatment you may need depends on your age, your medical history and the diagnosis. Rash and fever can be caused by a lot of things including strep throat (scarlet fever), typhoid, various tick-borne fevers, hemorrhagic fevers etc, some of which can be quite nasty, indeed. Best to just go see your doc right away.
