Single leg hops: Hopping on one leg in a figure 8 is what i learned to have professional athletes do to allow them to return to sport after injury. Physical therapist all have tricks and specialized techniques as well. Also, try using a balancing ball/pad to work on proprieception with both then one leg. Hope that helps.
